Title: WNY SCCA Test & Tune (plus Instruction Available) 6/26 @SeAD
Post by: dpotocki on June 10, 2010, 10:28:32 pm
On Saturday 06/26/2010 we will be having a test and tune at Seneca Army Depot.

There will be tons of seat time. Sunday is a regular points event, same location. There will be a decent discount for attending both days, I'll post more details on that soon.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for the test and tune, as the driver limit is 30 for that event to ensure tons of time to play.

Also, since we aren't having an official novice school, we will have Instructors available for any Novices or Intermediates looking for some help.

Any idea of the cost for doing just the T&T for a non member? Same as a regular event maybe?

Same as a regular event.  Doing both will save $10

Great, you may want to post it on roclife.com in the motorsports evemts area, I know there are some guys there that are interested in doing these:

You're not approved to post here either, but you do anyway ;)

So what's the schedule of events?  What time is registration/tech open, and when is the driver's meeting?  (what time do I have to leave to drive out there with the truck?)

Reg closes by 10, tech will be walk around tech, course setup should be done by 10 as well (will be simple, and may change throughout the day).  If we get there by 730/800 we'll be fine.  Right now only 14 are pre-registered.  If that number gets closer to 30, we might want to do setup earlier to allow for more hands for the other tasks.

Great event and course, we had a great time. You may want to check the road tire results, the first place car is listed with GS pax but its a DS car. He pre registered as RDS but I think you were not using the pre reg info so its last years class for the car. Doesn't effect me, just something I noticed.

Good catch Chris.  Actually it's the second place MINI in Road Tire that was messed up.  I guess I shouldn't have given Carrie a hard time for the registration line being so slow (j/k).  It will impact the standings so if possible it needs to be corrected.

Don't worry, all will be corrected.  I need to update a few other changes and post season points.  Hopefully I'll get to it tonight.
