So I have posted current year end totals. Please look them over and tell me if I'm missing anything, or need to combine scores between classes, yadda yadda yadda....
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=222Remember, you need a minimum of 4 events to qualify for a trophy, and your best 8 count.
As it stands:
CS: Holly McReynolds. could take the trophy, but she needs to run CS in the last event to meet the minimum events.
ESP: Jenner Hazan clinched the trophy for this season.
CP: James Hoelscher has a 14 point lead going into the last event - can he hold off Mike Stutzman one more time?
DP: A tight race has developed between both Reeves' and Brian Ciarlei. All 3 are within a 10 point spread, but all 3 only have 3 events.
GP: Dave Dill has finished enough events to have a commanding lead!
CM: Mark Haniszewski is 1 event shy of qualifying, so hopefully he can make it to the last event to claim his trophy.
EM: Paul Schaver sits on top, but if Paul is a no show, and Steve Hayward takes the victory, it could spell upset for Paul.
FM: Todd Miller has a commanding lead over his competition.
ST: John Stephens has a 1 event advantage over his competition, but he is not out of reach of Jeff Weaver or Shaun Hallam. Attendance could play a vital roll in this class.
STS: Scott Prior has 1 extra event of family member Dave Prior, but his lead is only 52 points, so it is truly anybodies fight.
STX: Paul Quinn has locked up his trohpy for this season.
STU: Dan Kaufman has a commanding lead over the rest of the STU field.
SM: Andy Walker repeats as the king of SM...but next year may yield a new challenger...
FJA: Jake Bucknam continues to dominate the gokarts.
Pro: Dave Potocki has a 15 point lead over Chris Morton, which looks to be an impossible gap to overcome. However, the fight for 2nd between Chris and Dale Kunze is only 3.66 points, which can easily be made up in the last event.
Road Tire: George Modlin is holding onto first place my a thread from challenger Greg Turner. Greg is 1 event shy, so if Greg can finish close enough to first, he can still take over the title.
Novice: An interesting battle in novice has 2 contenders for the trophy - Angelo Fillipone and Grant Chamberlain. What's truly interesting is that both of their cars are currently broken, so it will be interesting to see what both of them end up driving for the last event.
