Posted by The April 2025 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:49 pm on April 1, 2025. The meeting was held virtually via Zoom. Secretary duties were handled by Joe as Paul was having technical difficulties.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the March meeting was submitted by Dave and seconded by Jim. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer was absent. We think we have money.
Membership: The membership chair was absent. We have 227 members as of today.
Club Racing: Nothing submitted.
Ice Racing: In 301 days.
Solo: We have two events! May 4th and July 6th. Register for Event 1 here and Event 2 here.
The timing truck has been moved to its new location.
Joe submitted a budget for the season which was approved by the treasurer and region executive.
Derek has been in discussion with Terminal B at the Outer Harbor as a potential second site, however at this time we are far apart on costs.
New Business: Carrie was going to look into a bus that she saw for sale.
