Posted by The August 2024 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:36 pm on August 5, 2024. The meeting was held virtually via Zoom.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the July meeting was submitted by Jim and seconded by Joe. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer was absent.
Membership: 243 members.
Club Racing: “Keith did something at… Road America?… this month.” “Rusty is putting a car together.”
Ice Racing: Never at this point.
Solo: We had 2 travel series events, 1 each at Misery Bay and Finger Lakes. The Finger Lakes Tour event also occurred, with David G. and Chris K. taking trophies in their respective classes.
The next travel series event is August 11th at Misery Bay.
We have confirmed 2 additional dates for local events. The first will be held on August 18th. The second will be October 13th and serve as our annual Champagne Run season finale.
