Posted by The May 2024 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:37 pm on May 6, 2024. The meeting was held virtually via Zoom.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the April meeting was submitted by Jim and seconded by Carrie. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer was absent. (He assures us we have money.)
Membership: 249 members.
Club Racing: “Keith did something.”
Ice Racing: In 247 days.
Solo: We held a successful Test and Tune on April 14th.
Several members attended the Pro Solo at New Jersey, with Scott taking a trophy.
The first two events of the WNY travel league were held – Event 1 at Seneca Army Depot on April 28th and Event 2 at Lake Erie Speedway on May 5th. Ten members attended both events. Dave is currently leading in Driver of the Year standings with Seth in second place.
