Posted by The November 2022 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:39 pm on November 7, 2022. The meeting was held virtually via Zoom Meeting.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the October meeting was submitted by Joe and seconded by Jim. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer made his monthly report.
Membership: 249 members.
Club Racing: Keith ran a test and tune event at Nelson Ledges. Derek raced a Lemons race.
Ice Racing: In 34 days.
Solo: We held our annual Champagne Run on the 16th. Dale was honored and Joel was crowned season champion over pizza and pop in addition to the champagne.
NEDIV: Nothing submitted.
New Business: The subject of a new timing truck was broached. The discussion was tabled for the time being.
Old Business: Planning for the awards banquet is proceeding. The banquet will be on January 28th at the Tewksbury Lodge. Registration will open within the next month. Stay tuned for more details.
