Posted by The October 2024 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:35 pm on October 7, 2024. The meeting was held virtually via Zoom.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the August meeting was submitted by Jim and seconded by Joe. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer was absent. We are assuming he has not absconded with the region funds.
Membership: 248 members.
Club Racing: Runoffs were this past weekend. Keith passed a lot of people after having mechanical difficulties in qualifying.
Ice Racing: In 92 days.
Solo: Nationals happened. 7 WNY region members participated, with Kunkel earning a trophy.
3 travel series events have taken place since the last meeting, with at least 20 region competitors attending each.
The Champagne Run will be held this coming Sunday, October 13th. Register here.
We are in search of a new Solo chair for next year.
